Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Technician to join our team at Marmic Fire & Safety Co. As a Fire Safety Technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, testing, and servicing alarms and fire safety equipment in accordance with applicable fire codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical support and testing on fire detection systems and field devices
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tests performed
  • Assist in responding to service calls on an on-call basis
  • Perform troubleshooting techniques and minor repairs as directed
  • Assist in installing new fire life safety systems and wiring techniques

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic knowledge of AC/DC circuitry and associated low voltage systems preferred
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
  • A strong work ethic and dedication to providing excellent service
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage time wisely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
