Job Description

Theisen's Home Farm & Auto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Sales Associate to join our team. As an Ecommerce Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing the queue of ecommerce orders assigned to your store location, picking, packing, processing, and shipping all ecommerce orders received for your assigned store location. You will also assist with backroom and receiving needs of the store.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the queue of ecommerce orders assigned to your store location
  • Pick, pack, process, and ship all ecommerce orders received for your assigned store location
  • Assist with backroom and receiving needs of the store
  • Print, pack, process, and ship orders through the ROC website
  • Print and fill out packing slip information and send shipments through UPS and Speedee
  • Handle customer complaints/calls on orders received from stores
  • Process ship-to-home orders generated by store associates on the sales floor
  • Ensure all in-store pickups are processed and ready within 24 hours of customer placing order and are shipped within 48 hours
  • Actively communicate with ecommerce customer service team at corporate office on CSR orders that need additional attention or action
  • Assist with Receiving/Freight/Special Order duties as needed
  • File and sort paperwork by direct vendors and special orders
  • Contact buyers and assistant buyers regarding problems on freight
  • Other duties as requested by management may include but not limited to helping on sales floor, and contacting vendors with questions on orders
Requirements
  • Ability to understand and utilize various software systems (including Microsoft Office), and read and interpret documents and procedure manuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics
  • Ability to use, or to learn how to use, a forklift, pallet jack, and cash register
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics
  • Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to detail

Physical Demands

Frequent physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs., walking, standing, bending, reaching, dexterity, and light grasping. Occasional physical demands include lifting up to and over 50 lbs., climbing stairs, squatting, and firmly grasping. The associate is required to talk and hear. Must be able to work required shifts including nights and weekends, and maintain attendance standards. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision adequate for the incumbent to perform the responsibilities and functions of the job efficiently. The associate must have the manual dexterity to manually operate and use a computer/cash register and/or RF.

Work Environment and Working Conditions

Work will normally be performed inside of the store facility; however, some work may occasionally be performed outside in conditions ranging from cold below 32 degrees to heat above 100 degrees. The work environment is usually fast-paced with regular deadlines and sales expectations. Extreme noise and vibrations may occasionally be experienced. Associates may be subjected to hazards such as burns, cuts, electrical, explosive, and mechanical. Due to the nature of the work, associates may be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as dust fumes, odors, and poor ventilation. For the safety of our associates, all associates may be required to wear protective devices from time to time, depending on the job/task being performed.
