About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ecommerce Sales Associate to join our team at Theisen's Home Farm Auto. As an Ecommerce Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in managing the queue of ecommerce orders, picking, packing, processing, and shipping all ecommerce orders received for our assigned store location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the queue of ecommerce orders and assign them to the store
  • Pick, pack, process, and ship all ecommerce orders received for the assigned store location
  • Assist with backroom and receiving needs of the store
  • Print, pack, process, and ship orders through the ROC website
  • Handle customer complaints and calls on orders received from stores
  • Process ship-to-home orders generated by store associates on the sales floor
  • Ensure all in-store pickups are processed and ready within 24 hours of customer placing order and shipped within 48 hours
  • Actively communicate with ecommerce customer service team at corporate office on CSR orders that need additional attention or action
  • Assist with Receiving/Freight/Special Order duties as needed
  • File and sort paperwork by direct vendors and special orders
  • Contact buyers and assistant buyers regarding problems on freight
Requirements
  • 3-12 months of related experience preferred
  • Forklift certification or ability to get it within 3 months of starting employment
  • Ability to understand and utilize various software systems (including Microsoft Office), and read and interpret documents and procedure manuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic math skills including the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and volume
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics
  • Ability to use, or to learn how to use, a forklift, pallet jack, and cash register
  • Exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics

Work Environment and Working Conditions

Work will normally be performed inside of the store facility; however, some work may occasionally be performed outside in conditions ranging from cold below 32 degrees to heat above 100 degrees. The work environment is usually fast-paced with regular deadlines and sales expectations. Extreme noise and vibrations may occasionally be experienced. Associates may be subjected to hazards such as burns, cuts, electrical, explosive, and mechanical. Due to the nature of the work, associates may be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as dust fumes, odors, and poor ventilation. For the safety of our associates, all associates may be required to wear protective devices from time to time, depending on the job/task being performed.
