We are seeking industrial athletes to join our amazing warehouse team as a 4th Shift Switcher / Yard Driver. This role involves working Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 6:00PM - 4:30 AM in a fast-paced distribution center.

Qualification/Basic Job Requirements:
  • A valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) - Class A is required, and you must be in good standing with the DMV.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • 1 to 3 years of tractor-trailer related experience is required.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • You must be able to work well under pressure.
  • A safety mindset and a positive attitude are a must.
Job Responsibilities:
  • You will work under moderate supervision.
  • Completing trailer sanitation daily is a key responsibility.
  • Conducting daily inspections of the cab is also required.
  • Moving equipment around the yard and moving trailers into doors for loading/moving loaded trailers to the yard for pick up are essential duties.
  • Notifying management of repairs that need to be made is crucial.
  • Storing equipment in safe areas is a must.
  • Conducting regular inspections of incoming containers per CT-PAT protocol when placing them at a door is required.
  • Conducting weekly yard checks is essential.
  • Ensuring seals or locks are placed on all Outbound trailers or on trailers carrying merchandise is a key responsibility.
  • Assisting carriers in finding trailers or providing direction is also required.
  • Monitoring fluid levels and refilling fluids such as Blue Def when required is essential.
  • Locking the cab while not in use is a must.
  • Systemically moving trailers to match physical location using an RF Device is required.
  • Staging trailers in preparation of upcoming switches is essential.
  • Safely conducting all Hot or Cold trailer switches efficiently as possible is a key responsibility.
  • Overtime may be required to complete trailer switches.
  • Flexible shift work may be required.
Our Compensation Package:
  • We offer a competitive base pay of $20.00+.
  • A $1.50 shift differential on top of base pay is provided.
  • A monthly productivity bonus based on building performance is offered.
