Position Overview

As a Warehouse Operations Manager at Dollar Tree, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution center.

Shift Availability: Flexibility is essential as you will be required to work across various shifts, including weekend overnight and weekend shifts.
  • S4: Friday - Sunday, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM (3 x 12-hour shifts)
We are looking for dedicated individuals to manage all operational aspects of our facility and support our team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of up to 20 associates across multiple departments within the Distribution Center, including Receiving, Order Selection, Shipping, and Equipment.
  • Ensure that all merchandise is properly scheduled, received, unloaded, and verified for Receiving; replenished, selected, and labeled for Order Selection; scanned, loaded, and shipped for Shipping; and appropriately moved and slotted for Equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining our commitment to safety, sanitation, quality, and high operational standards.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in distribution center management or operations, or an equivalent educational background.
  • Comprehensive understanding of distribution center practices and procedures.
  • Exceptional leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to gather and interpret data, develop, recommend, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide supervisors and associates towards achieving professional growth.
  • Proficient in PC applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Education:
  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business administration or logistics.
