Restaurant Manager Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Pink Taco. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our team members are well-trained and motivated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and controlling costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of restaurant staff.
  • Ensure that all health and safety standards are met and that the restaurant is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Manage the restaurant's budget and financial performance, including forecasting and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing a high-volume restaurant.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
