We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Department Manager to oversee our housekeeping team at one of our hotels in [City, State]. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in housekeeping, and a passion for providing excellent guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and Staff Management:

The successful candidate will supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housemen, and laundry staff. They will also schedule staff shifts and manage daily assignments to ensure coverage and efficient use of resources.

Quality Control and Guest Satisfaction:

The Housekeeping Department Manager will conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met. They will monitor cleaning procedures and use of cleaning agents to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. Additionally, they will address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping service or cleanliness.

Inventory Management and Reporting:

The successful candidate will maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet daily operational needs. They will control inventory costs and place orders for supplies as needed. Furthermore, they will prepare and submit reports on housekeeping operations, including staff performance, guest feedback, and inspection results.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in hospitality or hotel management is preferred. You should have at least 2-3 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Compensation and Benefits:
