Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator - Striper/Painter

Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator - Striper/Painter at THTBC, a leading provider of innovative contract solutions to public and private sector customers worldwide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing road restriping and patching, and ensuring the proper operation of equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate various pieces of heavy equipment, including road strippers and painters, in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations.
  • Perform road restriping and patching, as well as other duties such as dirt hauling, fence repair, and removing fallen trees.
  • Ensure the proper operation of equipment by performing regular checks and documenting maintenance records.
  • Provide preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and operating properly.
  • Regularly clean equipment to preserve its quality and functionality.
  • Perform minor repairs on equipment issues and report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties.
  • Abide by all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as all company safety procedures.
  • Commit to the overall safety of the work environment by taking extra precautions to work with the utmost care and consideration.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training.
  • Class A CDL or higher with no restrictions.
  • Asphalt experience is desired.
  • Operation and application of street painting is desired.
  • Knowledge of CDOT striping standards is desired.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume work area and interface in a positive manner with co-workers and the customer.
  • Ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
