Job Title: Shop Service Technician

At Power Equipment Company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with our service team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of service activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repair histories, and customer feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in diesel engine repair or heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong background in diesel engine repair and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
