Job Summary:
The Transportation Specialist is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of Residents to various activities and events within the Senior Living Community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and safely deliver Residents to all scheduled activities where transportation is needed.
- Conduct a safety check of the vehicle before transporting Residents to and from scheduled trips or activities.
- Accurately record vehicle mileage and Resident attendance for all scheduled transportation, maintaining logs for regulatory inspections.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out.
- Provide exceptional customer service to Residents, family members, and staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Valid Class C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement and a good driving record.
- Current CPR/AED certification.
- High school education preferred, with ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Maintain a courteous, friendly, and helpful attitude with Residents at all times.
- Ability to interpret and follow map directions.
