Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer II - Frontend to join our team at CSG International. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building next-generation web applications, servers, and architectures in AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-end, reliable, performant, and scalable software solutions with a strong focus on the customer and delivering business value.
  • Redesign web applications, implement new designs, architect, and design solutions to challenging problems while having the ability to pick up new technologies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other talented developers, test engineers, product owners, and DevOps engineering talent to build and implement micro-services, integrate CI practices, write algorithms, and leverage data structures.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficiency in English in a business environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience and passion for CI, unit tests, monitoring, and alerting on the code you deliver.
  • Ability to design and implement RESTful-based web services.
  • Understanding of Domain-Driven Design, OO principles, and distributed architecture.
  • Knowledge of how to ship robust, performant software to a volume of users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Significant development experience in one or more of the following: Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python.
  • Strong knowledge of Web standards and protocols.
  • Years of experience with SQL and working with databases.
  • Knowledge in service-based architecture, RESTful services, and building scalable micro-services.
  • Professional experience building and deploying code in AWS.
