Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Ascension. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and advanced positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) procedures for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and record daily quality control procedures on specified equipment to ensure correct and accurate operation.
  • Assess, prepare, record and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or state regulations and departmental policies.
  • Perform daily and weekly departmental surveys to ensure compliance of radiation standards of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and/or state regulations.
  • Travel to various medical facilities on a mobile route.
Requirements
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
