Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

Henry Ford Health is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, selecting anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Monitor patient activity during procedures and report any abnormal findings.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech, Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography, or Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography.
