Pride Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide support within a medical facility. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with a leading healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming patients and escorting them to examination rooms while conducting clinical intake, including medical history, medication review, vital signs, and documenting visit reasons.
- Administering tests as directed by healthcare providers, such as EKGs and blood draws.
- Assisting healthcare providers and management as needed during patient interactions.
- Managing fax communications and routing laboratory results and messages, along with making necessary outbound calls to gather patient information.
- Ensuring examination rooms are well-stocked and that supplies are appropriately maintained or disposed of.
Required Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience in a medical office setting is advantageous.
- Ability to room patients and take vital signs.
- Capability to perform essential testing (e.g., EKGs, urine analysis).
- Comfortable working closely with healthcare providers.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
Position Details:
Pay Range: $18 to $23/hr (Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)
