Job Purpose

As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in our interdisciplinary treatment team, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. Your expertise and compassion will help patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop treatment plans based on evaluation results and interdisciplinary team goals
  • Implement and adapt treatment programs to meet individual patient needs, including exercise and motor learning, self-care training, and mobility and gait training
  • Provide patient and family education, including home programs and equipment training
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care and discharge planning
  • Document patient records, billing procedures, and productivity management in accordance with department standards
  • Participate in department management tasks, including staff training and education, and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Requirements
  • Current Louisiana licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
