Position Title: Physical Therapist - PRN

Overview: The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled physical therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a per diem basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and capabilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing recovery.
  • Deliver effective physical therapy interventions for patients with diverse neurological conditions.
  • Focus on improving functional mobility, including bed mobility, transfers, ambulation, and wheelchair use.
  • Utilize assistive devices as necessary to support patient progress.
  • Maintain clear communication with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate and train caregivers to facilitate patient support.

Qualifications:

  • Current Louisiana Physical Therapist license is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
