Job Summary

Parkson Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, generating reports, and communicating with internal teams to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of Parkson equipment to ensure compliance with quality management system.
  • Create inspection reports for incoming, in-process, and final inspections conducted at supplier sites.
  • Participate in quality management system audits at suppliers and Parkson offices utilizing ISO 9001 standard.
  • Manage non-conformance reporting system to analyze quality problems, conduct root cause investigations, and determine appropriate corrective/preventive action(s).
  • Facilitate continuous improvement activities throughout the company.
  • Conduct supplier audits to determine their capability to provide consistent high-quality product.
  • Track suppliers' performance related to quality.
  • Review project specifications to identify quality compliance requirements and communicate with sales and project management department to ensure clear understanding of scope related to quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Experience in performing surface preparation and coatings inspections using NACE and SSPC standards.
  • Experience in performing welding inspections, non-destructive examinations (NDE) at manufacturing facilities, experience with standard inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, coating thickness measurement instruments, etc.
  • Previous experience with process improvement activities, procedure & instruction development, supplier audits, and inspection and test activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MSOffice.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 preferred.
  • Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, weld symbols, bill of materials.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
