Job Summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services to inmates in a correctional facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging
  • Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure and risk
  • Prepare and assist inmates during procedures, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Monitor patient well-being and report any concerns to healthcare professionals
  • Review and ensure image clarity to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Keep detailed records of patient imaging and treatment
  • Follow institutional policies and regulations to ensure compliance and quality care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
  • State of California, Department of Health Services for Radiological Technology as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
  • Venipuncture certificate and Fluoroscopy permit (where applicable)
  • At least 3 years of experience in radiologic technology
