Radiologic Imaging Specialist

TEEMA Group is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services to inmates in a correctional facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for adhering to safety protocols, utilizing precise imaging techniques, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of inmates.
Key Responsibilities- Perform X-rays and other diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Position patients correctly to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize risk to patients and staff.
- Prepare and assist inmates during procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor patient well-being and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
- Review and ensure image clarity to ensure accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with radiologists to interpret imaging results and develop treatment plans.
- Keep detailed records of patient imaging and treatment.
- Follow institutional policies and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
- State of California, Department of Health Services for Radiological Technology as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Venipuncture certificate and Fluoroscopy permit (where applicable).
- At least 3 years of experience in radiologic technology.
