BotBuilt is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for setting technical direction and helping to debug complex systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect solutions that involve the selection of sensors, mechanisms, and algorithms.
  • Develop algorithms for mobile robot localization and constrained motion planning.
  • Optimize motion planning algorithms and work closely with junior robotics staff.
  • Be an integral part of an interdisciplinary team to understand problems, prototype, and refine solutions.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience or a Ph.D. in Robotics.
  • Experience with SLAM, Computer Vision, Motion Planning, or Diffusion Policies.
  • Proficiency with C/C++ and Python.
  • Familiarity with hardware in the loop testing and simulation platforms for robot testing.
  • Experience with various forms of extrinsic calibration.
