As a Hospice RN/ RN Case Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting directly to the Administrator, Executive Director, or Patient Care Manager, maintaining primary oversight and professional management of each patient.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact between the physician, patient/family, and hospice team.
  • Delivering direct patient care services to hospice patients and providing supportive care to their families while fostering a trusting and compassionate relationship.
  • Empowering caregivers by educating them on the care of their loved ones.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, including Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurses (LPN or LVN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and support staff to ensure comfort and dignity.
  • Assessing patient and family needs and assisting in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records for all assigned patients.
  • Participating in quality assessment and performance improvement initiatives.


Compensation may vary within the provided salary range based on various factors, including location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, and departmental equity.

Curo Health Services offers a comprehensive benefits and rewards package, with base pay being just one component.

Salary Range - $76,000.00-$91,700.00

About You

Hospice Registered Nurse Qualifications:

  • A compassionate heart: empathetic and kind towards patients and their families.
  • Comfortable providing care in various settings.
  • Ability to remain flexible and composed while supporting others during challenging times.
  • RN license in the state of employment (or eligibility to obtain).
  • At least 1 year of nursing experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatrics, or oncology is strongly preferred.
  • Additional preferred experience includes: hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatrics, admissions, wound care, telemetry, or travel nursing.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Current CPR certification.
