Position Summary:

The Line Cook 2 plays a crucial role in the daily culinary operations under the supervision of the Senior Sous Chef. This position is responsible for the meticulous preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring that the highest standards of quality are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to foster a supportive work environment.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, demonstrating a commitment to hospitality.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure proper rotation of food products, adhering to first-in, first-out principles.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in various culinary techniques and knowledge of food products.
  • Regularly restock kitchen supplies and ensure cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
  • Follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in dish preparation.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen management and fellow chefs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the kitchen.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Engage in effective communication with team members to provide clear direction.
  • Remain composed during high-pressure situations, serving as a role model for others.
  • Adhere to all operational policies, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food production, preferably in an upscale dining environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
