Job Title: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit/NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in College Station, TX.

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, conduct thorough assessments, and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments and create care plans to address patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Provide education to patients, families, and healthcare staff on various topics, including patient care and health promotion
  • Collaborate with colleagues and community members to create a comprehensive care plan
  • Recognize limitations and prioritize safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care planning and delivery
Requirements:
  • Current and valid nursing license
  • Specialized field of study in nursing
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation
