About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team at Baylor Scott & White Health. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with critically ill patients and their families, providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care and make informed decisions to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to empower them with knowledge and promote healthy behaviors.
  • Work effectively with colleagues and community members to create a comprehensive care plan that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient care issues and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current and valid nursing license.
  • Specialized field of study in nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.
