The Cybersecurity Analyst will primarily focus on enhancing information security practices and ensuring our solutions align with corporate standards and compliance frameworks. This role will emphasize aligning the organization with CMMC standards, facilitating audits, and upholding compliance.

The successful candidate will cultivate strong relationships with business users to comprehend their operational processes and associated information security needs. This understanding will be utilized to ensure that the organization adheres to relevant standards and controls while ensuring that security solutions are tailored to meet business requirements.

The individual must be a proactive self-starter, willing to engage in hands-on work. They should possess the ability to balance security requirements with the operational needs of users to enable them to perform their roles effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in achieving successful CMMC certification and compliance with various NIST standards.
  • Coordinate vulnerability management efforts, ensuring that pertinent vulnerabilities and risks are identified and mitigated, both on-premises and in cloud environments.
  • Monitor computer networks for security incidents, collaborating with third-party vendors to investigate issues.
  • Identify and assess external information sources, providing insights on emerging security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for service delivery teams, addressing and managing colleagues' inquiries related to information security.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security Manager to execute initiatives outlined in the cybersecurity strategy and maintain an ongoing security testing program.
  • Evaluate and test new technologies.
  • Stay informed about trends in information technology and security standards.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

Required Skills:

Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:

  • Background in an IT Service Desk role or a similar position.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure and technology, particularly in security operations.
  • Experience with endpoint security, infrastructure security, and technical security baselines.
  • Ability to create and maintain policy and procedural documentation in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Must be based in the United States.

Additionally, candidates should demonstrate the ability to:

  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capacity for critical thinking.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, adapting their style to meet the audience's needs.

Collaborate effectively with others, including third parties, internal teams, and international business units, promoting knowledge sharing within IT and across the organization.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience addressing Operational Technology challenges in a manufacturing context.
  • Experience supporting a global and multicultural organization.
