As a Community Engagement Intern, you will interact with our members and the broader community by supporting the Community Development team in event planning and execution.


This role offers practical experience in the intricacies of event production, communication strategies, business operations, special event coordination, and fostering strategic alliances.

Key Responsibilities:

Your main duties will include:
Collaborating effectively with the Community Development, Communications, and Events departments.

Assisting in the planning, organization, and implementation of various events.

Maintaining and updating spreadsheets, databases, and inventory records.

Required Qualifications:

Before submitting your application, ensure you meet the following criteria:
A valid Driver's License is required, as travel to events is part of the role.

Availability to work weekends and holidays as necessary.

Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

This position also necessitates certain physical capabilities, including:

The ability to lift equipment weighing 70-80 pounds (which may include items such as coolers, tables, etc.).

The capacity for extensive local travel.

The ability to stand for prolonged periods.

The ability to operate basic office machinery and reach keyboards.

Eligibility for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union is required for employment.
