As a Physician Assistant at Avera Health, you will provide medical services and health education to patients under the supervision of a physician sponsor. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients in the hospital according to medical staff-approved protocol and acceptable standards of practice.
Requirements- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant and ability to practice in the state of South Dakota
- Federal and State DEA Certification
- National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- ATLS and ACLS certifications
Full-time, varied shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks. Every 4th weekend and holiday, every third week night, and every 4th weekend call time.
