Position Overview

As a skilled facilitator, you excel at opening channels of communication and connecting stakeholders.

In this position, you will oversee the management of specific accounts within a designated geographic area, focusing on the cardiac therapeutic sector and providing support for our client's offerings. The Reimbursement Access Consultant will implement the strategic plan for the territory through collaboration with both internal and external partners, which may include call center services (HUB), sales teams, market access, and other collaborative entities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Functioning as an extension of the call center and/or HUB, delivering personalized one-on-one support
  • Acting as a payer authority for the assigned region, ensuring timely communication of payer updates to key stakeholders
  • Providing educational resources to offices throughout the access process, which may encompass formulary coverage/utilization management criteria, insurance documentation and procedures, benefits investigation, prior authorization, appeals, and claims resolution
  • Analyzing patient-specific data in reimbursement scenarios where assistance is requested to address access challenges or coverage issues

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the reimbursement sector, whether public or private, or within the pharmaceutical industry in managed care, clinical support, or sales
  • Familiarity with specialty or biologic products
  • Proven ability to educate healthcare offices on access protocols
  • Must reside within or near the designated territory

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cardiology

The anticipated annual base salary for this role ranges from $115,000 to $130,000. This salary range reflects the expected low and high for this position at Syneos Health. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and expertise. Additionally, some roles may offer the opportunity to earn commissions or bonuses based on individual and/or company performance.
