Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Flux Resources is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise project site personnel and subcontractors to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Perform quality control duties, including inspecting work in progress and ensuring that all construction activities meet company and regulatory standards.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including project managers, clients, and subcontractors, to ensure that all parties are informed of project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Ensure that all construction activities are conducted in a safe and healthy manner, in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, schedules, and quality control documentation.
  • Participate in project planning and coordination, including developing project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders and manage a team of subcontractors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction management software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Construction Quality Management Certification.
  • OSHA 30-hour training and HAZWOPER certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.

Flux Resources offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position may also be eligible for benefits, including PTO, health and dental insurance, and 401(k) matching.
