Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing multiple electrical systems, both domestically and internationally, ensuring thorough analysis and reporting of electrical data and metrics.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation related to project designs, technical reports, and engineering activities.
- Providing electrical systems commissioning and energy-related services throughout all phases of construction projects, including retro-commissioning and energy auditing.
- Collaborating with Mechanical Engineering and software controls to plan, design, and implement IT infrastructure installations.
Essential Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- The ability to analyze monitoring system data and integrate necessary design developments or site expansion capabilities.
- Proficiency in calculating and developing power requirements for new or existing facilities.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical equipment, including Medium/Low Voltage Unit Substations, Uninterruptable Power Systems (UPS), and Generators.
- Experience in developing Standard Operating Procedures and Sequence of Operations for electrical and control systems.
- Capability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical equipment to enhance efficiency.
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with:
- Mechanical cooling systems relevant to Data Center configurations.
- Building Monitoring Systems and Computer Aided Design software such as AutoCAD.
- Engineer-in-training (EIT) certification.
Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, is required.
