Job Summary:

Our client, a leading employee-owned engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Energy, Manufacturing & Bioprocessing department. This role will involve leading projects, developing electrical design documents, and analyzing complex systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in power, energy, and industrial process industries, with a strong background in electrical engineering principles and technical codes. Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD and REVIT, is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects and develop electrical design documents and drawings.
  • Analyze and approve the work of others, monitoring team performance and ensuring project estimates are met.
  • Develop specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment, including transformers and switchgear.
  • Travel to client project sites to support field walk downs and as-built efforts.
  • Work with Design/Engineering Managers to ensure project schedules are met and complete documents are provided.

Requirements:
  • Electrical engineering experience, preferably in power, energy, and industrial process industries.
  • Experience developing one-line drawings, control schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of technical codes and standards, including NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and IEC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word, as well as design software such as AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. accredited college.
  • PE License required.
