Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Daily Tasks: Help clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, and preparing simple meals.
  • Provide Companionship: Spend quality time with clients, engaging in conversations, and providing emotional support.
  • Maintain a Safe and Comfortable Environment: Assist with light housekeeping and ensure the home is safe and comfortable for clients.
  • Accompany Clients on Outings: Escort clients to appointments, social events, or errands, promoting their independence and social interaction.
  • Monitor and Report Changes: Notify supervisors of any changes in clients' condition, ensuring their well-being and safety.
  • Communicate Effectively: Share important information with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals, promoting a seamless care experience.
  • Be Reliable and Trustworthy: Demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality and confidentiality, building trust with clients and their families.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1+ year of caregiving experience, preferably in a home health or personal care setting.
  • Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation: Ensure safe and reliable transportation for clients.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, climb, stoop, and stand for extended periods, with the capacity to lift 20-30 pounds.
