Job SummaryThe Caregiver will be responsible for providing non-medical care and assistance to our clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic demeanor, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide personal care, including assistance with toileting, incontinence care, and mobility
- Assist with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
- Assist clients with medication reminders and other tasks as needed
- Document client care and services provided
- At least 18 years of age
- Current registration with the State of California Home Care Aide Registry
- Completion of a criminal background check and disclosure of any criminal history or evidence of exemption
- Evidence of entry-level training or plan to complete paid training prior to client care and in accordance with CA regulations
- Evidence of tuberculosis testing and verification that the home care aide does not have active tuberculosis
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail, and impaired
- Demonstrates tact, patience, and good personal hygiene
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance and/or reliable transportation required
We offer a flexible work schedule that fits with the other priorities in your life. You can work 10 to 40 hours per week, with morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts available.
