Job Summary:

The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality documentation for our manufacturing operations. This includes writing work instructions, reviewing and interpreting historical production records, and managing document creation and revision in an electronic document control system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write work instructions for technical/scientific manufacturing operations
  • Review and interpret historical production records and manufacturing documents to collect data and information about existing processes
  • Manage document creation and revision in an electronic document control system
  • Utilize internal software systems to manage creation and revision of raw material, sub-assembly and finished good SKUs
  • Accurately follow SKU data standards and supply chain requirements
  • Coordinate with team members to share workload and track project status

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field)
  • 2 years laboratory or manufacturing experience in a scientific/technical field
  • Ability to interpret and summarize scientific/technical results in a clear and concise manner
  • Solid technical writing skills with an ability to document synthetic, conjugation, or formulation procedures accurately and succinctly
  • Experience using Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality business systems
