Job Title: Technical Writer Specialist

Source One Technical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Writer Specialist, you will be responsible for creating complex technical written communications used for projects assigned to our department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produces technical written communications for various projects, including marketing tools, technical manuals, and presentations.
  • Participates in special projects and may be required to work in a GMP / regulatory environment.
  • Develops, writes, edits, and proofs complex assignments for various internal customers.
  • Ensures Company publications meet established standards of style and format.
  • Reviews photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts selected for specific publications to ensure relevance to content.
  • Generates and reviews text for nontechnical documents upon request.
  • Serves as editing consultant to other staff.
  • Provides input into project parameters and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Generally requires 4-6 years of work experience.
  • University/Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in a technical area.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in technical writing.
  • Must be able to work with minimal information/direction to get tasks done.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Will be working in a GMP / regulatory environment.

Additional Notes:

  • Role is 100% onsite.
  • Must have experience with Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Will write validations and protocols (using templates).
