Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join our team at a leading plastics manufacturing company in River Falls, Wisconsin. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for effectively operating and maintaining manufacturing tools and equipment, as well as assisting other areas of operations when needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate plant equipment effectively to meet production goals and quality standards.
  • Set up and prepare materials, equipment, and paperwork for processing.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and operating issues to minimize downtime.
  • Comply with all safety and housekeeping policies to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Load and unload trucks as necessary, and operate forklift and other powered equipment.
  • Report incidents, safety concerns, and equipment issues to supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in plastics manufacturing, with a focus on extrusion, is a plus.
  • Strong math skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 lbs. and perform prolonged standing.
  • Basic computer skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work self-directed.
