Job Summary

Automation Service is seeking a skilled Instrument Calibration Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating process control instrumentation in the shop and field using industry-standard practices and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and calibrate process control instruments to meet industry standards and customer specifications.
  • Analyze instruments to determine if repairable or re-manufacturable.
  • Troubleshoot non-conforming parts, subassemblies, and instruments to determine the appropriate course of action.
  • Document and certify instruments to specified performance standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain instruments used internally.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and Instrument Assembly personnel.
Requirements
  • Technical school degree or high school degree with 5 years of experience in process control instrumentation.
  • Fundamental understanding of process control and instrumentation usage.
  • Able to deploy to customer locations, perform calibration work while standing or sitting for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds unaided, and work in unconditioned industrial environments.
