Perioperative Nurse Specialist

Job Summary:

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse at LifeBridge Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in our Ambulatory Surgery Facility. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating and delivering safe and age-appropriate care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and individualize plans of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Function as an advisor, resource, preceptor, and leader for other members of the patient care team
  • Work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college)
  • 1-3 years of experience in a perioperative setting
  • Maryland Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association CPR Certification, ACLS required
