ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview:
As an Account Executive in our Commercial and Industrial sales sector, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the comprehensive sales and marketing initiatives while driving profitable expansion within the Commercial and Industrial service area. This role will involve regular direct interactions with clients through a consultative sales method to ensure their needs are met effectively.
Following the completion of training, you will inherit a robust customer portfolio. Additionally, you will identify and pursue sales opportunities that present the highest potential for profit within the Commercial and Industrial market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sustain existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities.
• Play a significant role in business development and profitability by implementing effective sales strategies.
• Ensure all relevant data is accurately recorded and maintained in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to design and manage systems that support ongoing sales and margin enhancement across the division.
• Keep abreast of product, technical, and application knowledge to provide informed service.
• Responsively adapt to evolving market conditions to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Proactively identify and propose solutions to business challenges, emerging trends, and opportunities.
• Conduct responsibilities with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to diversity and safety in the workplace.
• Foster open and transparent communication within the department and across all levels of the organization, while regularly updating relevant stakeholders on important matters.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution is required.
• Preference may be given to candidates with an advanced degree from a recognized university.
• Preference may also be given to those with a minimum of 2 years of successful experience in selling to industrial clients.
Additional Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions clearly.
• Capacity to effectively utilize the expertise within Brenntag Lubricants to enhance customer service and drive sales growth.
• Ability to work independently and achieve organizational objectives.
• Strong time-management capabilities.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
• Ability to convey enthusiasm and technical knowledge when presenting Brenntag Lubricants products and services.
