Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Burgess & Niple, Inc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and wastewater infrastructure processes and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop water and wastewater infrastructure processes and facilities, including CAD drafting and preparation of design calculations, drawings, specifications, and construction cost estimates.
  • Perform construction-related services, including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, and field inspections.
  • Provide support to project managers and senior design engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve design and delivery processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • EIT or EI registration with a desire to become a PE.
  • 0-2 years of related water/wastewater experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
