The Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist is responsible for performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with established ARDMS standards. Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly compensation is set at $62.33, contingent upon experience, skills, and qualifications. The organization provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, alongside a robust 401K plan. New employees are entitled to 17 days of paid time off, 9 recognized holidays, and additional benefits such as profit sharing and reimbursement for continuing education.

Job Location: This position requires flexibility as it may involve covering various locations as needed.

Work Schedule: Full-time employment at 1.0 FTE, requiring 40 hours of work from Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by providing clear explanations and guidance.
  • Gather pertinent patient history related to the ultrasound examination.
  • Assess medical charts and physician requests to determine the best scanning techniques.
  • Accurately execute orders from referring physicians.
  • Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations with precision.
