Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist Assistant to join our team at Carle Health. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will assist radiologic technologists in performing patient care and departmental maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologic technologists in performing basic patient care, ensuring quality patient care and adhering to medical center policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental maintenance duties, such as cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, and transporting paperwork.
  • Provide support to assigned areas, including errands, message prioritization, and information relay.
  • Use maintenance services efficiently by reporting unsafe equipment or risky situations promptly.
  • Process images and paperwork in a timely manner to ensure efficient turn-around.
  • Assist physicians and hospital personnel in locating images for review in PACS.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and oral English skills.
  • Accountability, multicultural sensitivity, and customer-focused skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to customer and coworker interactions.
  • Maintain confidential information and project a professional demeanor.
