Job Title: Mobile Integrated Health Advanced EMT

South Shore Health is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Integrated Health Advanced EMT to join our team. As a Mobile Integrated Health Advanced EMT, you will provide primary care and emergent support to patients in the community, working in partnership with other health professionals to extend access to health services delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly to requests for non-emergent and emergency calls, maintaining a safe and timely manner.
  • Complete documentation and records according to department policy, ensuring accurate and timely entries.
  • Ensure vehicle and equipment are ready for response at all times, restocking and maintaining as needed.
  • Rend pre-hospital care at EMT-Advanced level, performing complete and accurate BLS patient assessments.
  • Perform assigned duties in the MIH Department under the supervision of the MIH providers, assisting as ancillary staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year experience as an Emergency Medical Technician preferred.
  • Verification of an acceptable motor vehicle driving record, at time of hire, with annual verification required thereafter.
