Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at South Shore Health. As an EMT, you will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing critical care and transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls, utilizing knowledge of area geography and traffic patterns to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and transportation, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and ready for response at all times.
  • Provide pre-hospital care at the EMT-B level, adhering to state and regional protocols.
  • Collaborate with emergency department staff to provide seamless patient care and transportation.
Requirements
  • One year of experience as an Emergency Medical Technician preferred.
  • Verification of an acceptable motor vehicle driving record.
  • Current BLS certification and EMT-B licensure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EMT-Advanced or EMT-Paramedic certification.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
