• Deliver meals to patient rooms in a timely and courteous manner
• Clean and set up dining tables and food trays to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in the kitchen and dining areas
• Listen to and document patient food and drink requests and needs
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and stocking ingredients as needed
• Inspect food, food preparation, and storage areas to ensure quality and safety
• Communicate with medical staff to ensure patient nutritional needs are met
• Remove and dispose of expired or spoiled food items

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods (80% of shift)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification in food services preferred
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 90 pounds
• Skilled in operating cooking appliances and preparing meals according to instructions

Work Schedule:

This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per pay period) position, working a.m. shifts including every other weekend and holidays. Flexibility to fill in where needed is required.

Compensation:

$21.87 per hour
