Adventist HealthCare is seeking a skilled Housekeeper to join our team in Environmental Services. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing, to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and ancillary areas.
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to established standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all.
- Notify supervisors or managers of any damages, deficits, or disturbances, and take prompt action to address any issues.
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies, ordering more as needed to ensure a clean and well-stocked environment.
- Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned, including hauling trash and linen, replenishing linen, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is highly desired, but not required.
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and safely, and to utilize supplies, tools, and equipment properly.
Work Schedule:
Evening Shift: 3pm-11:30pm, with rotating weekends.
