Role Overview
The Pediatric Care Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a positive initial experience for our patients, laying the groundwork for lifelong dental health and a strong relationship with our practice. Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Create meaningful connections with new patients during their initial dental visits.
- Dental Education: Provide comprehensive information to parents and patients regarding dental health, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Appointment Management: Oversee and coordinate patient care appointments efficiently.
- Treatment Collaboration:
- Work alongside dentists to formulate treatment recommendations.
- Clarify the risks, benefits, and alternatives associated with dental treatments.
- Address any clinical, financial, or insurance-related inquiries.
- Clinical Assistance: Support dental cleanings and procedures, take x-rays, and assist the clinical team as necessary.
- Administrative Duties: Follow up with patients regarding unscheduled treatments, send appreciation notes to referring families and professionals, and maintain accurate patient records.
