Job Summary

University Hospitals Health System is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and increasing patient access and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality care for patients and increase patient access and satisfaction.
  • Initiate and maintain positive relationships with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare providers.
  • Take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment.
  • Display commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
  • Perform patient assessment and assign diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific research.
  • Establish a plan of care and implement interventions in accordance with carepaths, protocols, and standards of care and current research.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers in an interdisciplinary approach to provide care to patients and families.
  • Contribute to the educational development of staff, patients, family, and self.
  • Demonstrate progressive leadership and effective management.
  • Provide education through role modeling and in-services to meet identified learning needs and promote professionalism.
  • Advance own professional development through self-directed learning, continuing education, and participation in peer review.
Requirements

This is a full-time, day shift position, Monday through Friday. The role will consist of 36 clinical hours and 4 hours of administrative time per week.
