Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing professional to join our skilled care team at Brethren Care Village.

This role is ideal for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of nursing care and implement policies and procedures in accordance with our facility's guidelines.
  • Assess residents' needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Provide education and support to nursing assistants and other team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document all pertinent information in residents' records and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing assistants and other support staff to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • A current and valid LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio is required.
  • Current CPR certification is preferred, but willingness to obtain upon hire is acceptable.
