Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with pharmacists to prepare medications, screen prescriptions and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders.

About the Role:

  • Prepare medications and supply patients with correctly filled medication orders.
  • Screen prescriptions and verify patient information.
  • Work under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities within Pharmacy and with outside departments to identify and rectify problems.

Requirements:

  • Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • 2-4 years Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • PTCB - Certified Pharmacy Tech.
  • PTSR - Pharmacy Tech State Registration.
